Scientific Responsible

Dr. Valentina Arima (Opens internal link in current windowCNR-NANO-NNL-Lecce), is currently researcher. She graduated in Chemistry in April 2001 from the University of Pisa. In September 2005 she took her Ph.D. in Nanoscience from the University of Lecce, ISUFI (Institute of Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies). She is collaborating to the development of Nanochips Applied to Genomics. She is actively involved in the recently approved European project “Radiochemistry on chip” (ROC) with the role of scientific leader of the coordinating partner (CNR-NNL). Her main research activities currently deal with fabrication of micro reactors and their application to organic synthesis, traditional synthesis of organic molecules, production of coatings and their characterization by Scanning Probes Microscopy (SPM) and Spectroscopy (SPS), UHV surface science techniques (such as synchrotron radiation based spectroscopies), and contact angle measurements.
