Petra S. Dittrich

Dr. Petra S. Dittrich is research associate at ISAS since 2004. She studied Chemistry at Bielefeld University (Germany) and Universidad de Salamanca (Spain). In 2003, she received her PhD at the Max Planck-Institute for Biophysical Chemistry (Göttingen, Germany). Her PhD thesis focused on single fluorescent molecule spectroscopy in microstructures applied for single particle and flow analysis, and kinetic studies of reactions. Her current research interests lay in the development of miniaturized bioanalytical methods for cell biology, biotechnology and medicine.
