IFC-CNR, Pisa, Italy is one of the leading centers for the study of new PET analysis, both on the side of new radiopharmaceuticals and of new acquisition protocols and parameters. The center is equipped with a 13 MeV PET trace cyclotron and 2 PET cameras and has been recently granted as “officina farmaceutica” for official production and selling of FDG. This center is able to ensure the whole process leading to the final PET analysis starting from the production of radioactivity to the actual patient handling.
