Giancarlo Pascali
Key Scientist
Dr. Giancarlo Pascali (IFC – Pisa) is currently working in the University of Pisa but, due to his scientific background, is steadily collaborating with IFC-CNR. He graduated cum laude in chemistry in 2001 and obtained his Ph.D. in Radiochemistry in 2004 after 2-year collaboration with NIH in Bethesda (USA). His main research activities deal with organic synthesis, basic radiochemistry with positron emitting nuclides, R&D on new radiotracers. He has recently collaborated with Eckert&Ziegler obtaining significant process optimization of their radiosynthesis module, the Modular Lab system.
