WP3: Implementation of non-radioactive fluid handling and reactions

The activity of this WP is divided into three objectives. The first is related to the implementation of the device and its specific target will be the fluid handling processes of electroosmotic flow and/or hydrodynamic pumping. The second one is the test of the device in chemical reactions. This will be initially focused on the synthesis of the clinically most relevant molecule, FDG, with no radioactive isotopes. In a second step, more basic reactions of nucleophilic fluorinations (of interest in radiochemistry field) will be studied and conditions for high yields of the desired product optimized. The last objective will aim to provide the correct feedback to WP2.
