WP10 Technology implementation and dissemination
The activities of this project are organized into 10 workpackages strongly interacting each other. Except the first one, dedicated to the management, and
WP10, targeted to demonstration and dissemination activities, the others are related to specific scientific targets and all of them are focused towards
WP8 and
WP9. While
WP2 is entirely dedicated to the fabrication of the each module, the work packages 3-6 aim at the implementation of chemical reactions (
WP3), pre-concentration of fluorine solutions, purification and solvent exchange (
WP4-
WP5) and radioactivity detection operations (
WP7) into modules. All these activities provide the basic knowledge to WP6 for performing radiochemical synthetic steps on each module. From the strong collaboration (indicated by the double arrows in the figure) between the workpackages 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 with the contribution of
WP7,
WP8, the most important WP for achieving the final target of this project, will receive the main inputs in terms of fabrication processes and radiosynthetic pathways. Finally, the results obtained in WP8 will be compared with traditional approaches for radiosynthesis within
WP9. This last WP can be considered as the evaluation stage of the overall project because it will give us the possibility of understanding the potentiality of the device developed during the ROC project for actual use in radiopharmaceuticals marketing.
