WP10: Technology implementation and dissemination

Many strategies are employed to achieve this important task. First of all, the scientific discoveries have to be object of conjunctive publications on international journals and, whereas possible, of patents. The results have to be presented at the most significant international conferences. This Web-Site, developed by the coordinating unit (CNR-NNL), is also considered a tool accessible to anyone interested in learning about the ROC project and radiochemistry. Periodic meetings and workshops for coordinating the activities and attracting the interest of other people from academic institutions and industries are also organized. A complete plan (based on web publications and press coverage, participations in radio/television broadcasts or other cultural events, seminars or workshops in the centres for PET analysis, lessons in classrooms and projection of educational videos in local schools, guided site visits) has been developed in order to inform non specialized audience about the existence, the motivations and the possible repercussions of the ROC project. Another important initiative employed by the consortium for increasing the dissemination level of the knowledge produced in the frame of this project is a market survey made by the industrial partner, Siemens, which has a vast experience in implementation of technology into production of micro reactors.
